This image is one element of a larger piece used for the program and advertisements for a play called Black Box: A Play.

The real challenge with this piece was that the original requirements were a black box with black text on a black background. I used the 'backlight' style glow to give the box definition and depth. The left front corner uses a gradient in the specularity channel to give the look achieved here.

The image was created entirely in Lightwave with no post processing. The original was rendered at 2400x3000 (8x10 300dpi)
